"A New Friend"
On a friends reccomendation I dined at Dom & Louie's Pizzeria Restaurant on Hypoluxo Road in Boynton Beach. Dom & Louie's is chef owned and operated. They have been in South Florida since 1995, originally from Brooklyn New York. The ambiance is casually cozy. The service is such that an air of friendliness is immediately felt. The pizza and foods prepared by owner Jerry Romano is just what one would expect in a first class restaurant. Each dish takes a little time because it is freshly prepared. Each dish is delicious and generous, like home. What made Dom & Louie's extra special was the way the customers were treated. When he had time, Jerry Romano came out to talk to
the diners making sure that everyone felt at home. At
one point he
hugged a teenager and one could see
his concerns of
pasta and sauces dissapeared as
he showered the
boy with hugs and kisses. It was
one of his sons.
He
named his restaurant after his
children Dominick
and Louis hence the name
Dom & Louie's. A pizza or a dinner at
Dom & Louie's is like a meal with
family at home - good, plentiful,
well served and the price is
right.
